"Google as a Password Cracker?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-13 05:46:41

While doing forensics. I thought it would be interesting to find out the account password. Wordpress stores raw MD5 hashes in the user database (despite my recommendation to use salting). As with any respectable hash function it is believed to be computationally infeasible to discover the input of MD5 from an output. Within four years the U. S government will cease to use SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm) for digital signatures and convert to a new and more advanced "hash" algorithm according to the article "Security Cracked!" from New Scientist. The reason for this change is that associate professor Wang Xiaoyun of Beijing's Tsinghua University and Shandong University of Technology and her associates have already cracked SHA-1. Nice. Cracked today. US government will stop using it... later. The whole story started back in 1996 shaped as a research project its parents being Larry Page and Sergey Brin and the original search engine was nicknamed "BackRub" but that's history already. Before I return to my Google party here there's one more interesting thing that needs to be known :p To create a live link simply type the URL (including http://) or email address and we will make it a live link for you. You can put up to 3 URLs in your comments. Line breaks and paragraphs are automatically converted — no need to use <p> or <br /> tags.

"Recipe: Ginger Pumpkin Pie with Graham Cracker Crust" posted by ~Ray

without pumpkin pie and it seems like. Here's our gingery creamy take on classic pumpkin pie - with one twist: a. We love the nutty buttery crunch of graham cracker crust under our pumpkin pie. answer with whipped beat! 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree - or just under 2 cups 2 eggs1/2 cup brown dulcify2 1/2 teaspoons ginger puree or grated spice2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon black pepper1/2 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups half and half1 Whisk the pumpkin rub with the eggs and brown sugar. Whisk in the spice cinnamon salt and spice. You can either use the ginger puree that comes in a jar (Trader Joe's is very good) or grate spice yourself. Use about a 3 advance conjoin and discard the tough fibers. Just use the milky juice and puree. bring in the half and half and whisk until smooth. Pour into the graham cracker crust. Bake for about 50 minutes at 375F or just until set. The filling will continue to firm up after it comes out of the oven. Let alter for at least two hours before serving. This is a great make-ahead dessert; it keeps well in the fridge and the flavors develop even more as they sit. I am not a big fan of pumpkin pie but I have to admit that this looks very good. The fresh ginger and graham cracker crust are a nice twist i'll undergo to try it out. Thanks! If you make your own crust (cerebrate) don't use as much butter/wet as called for and adjoin your edges with foil from the start to forbid burning. I undergo to tell you that I was really excited to make this recipe esp after realizing that I had all of the ingredients (including a fresh jar of the TJ's ginger move!) in the house already. But. Despite adding some ground spice Snaps to the crust to boost the spice aim change surface more. I can't believe how UN-gingery this was! That's my only complaint. Other than that. I thought it was really easy to make and a great consistency--I'll just add a lot more ginger next time and/or make a ginger snap crust instead of a combo with the graham crackers. I made this for my extended family and it was a disappointment. There was another "traditional" pumpkin pie at our Thanksgiving and folks all went to that for seconds and thirds and left this pie on their plates after tasting it. I had thought that it would be spicy and was even afraid that some of the older folks would complain about it. It was the exact opposite and had zero spice to it and was just bland and there was not change surface enough sugar to make it sweet. It was very easy to make and folks did like the idea of a graham cracker crust for a change. The ginger snaps in the crust would be a terrific addition. I would double all the spices and add a teaspoon of ground cloves. {if ! preview}{if comment anonymouse == adjust}posted by {if mention url}{/if} on ${comment comment_date|html}{else}posted by on ${comment comment_go out|html}view ${comment screen_label}'s {/if}{else}Preview...{/if}

"Cracker Barrel" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 18:47:03

So hubby is working 2nds this week so I decided to act a night off of cooking another box of macaroni and cheese.  I undergo a craving sue me I am pregnant :) for Cracker Barrel.  Hubby pretty much hates the place he says because he does not desire the food but I know really it is because they don’t serve beer. So I got home a little late from work and off we went.  J of cover wants to know what Caker Barrel is and wants Chinese instead.  Can you say heartburn?  I have been waking up dying from it each night and end up sleeping sitting up in bed for the past two nights.  So sorry pregnant mommy wins.  As we drive the boys have to have a competition to see who can see the most Christmas lights.  Why is it with each holiday my kids get fixated with one or more houses with pass decorations and then beg cry and carry on for me to drive by them each day.  I am sure a few of our neighbors think we are stalkers. We finally make it.  J is shocked to see that it is right next to breathe in Burger - did you know that is Steak and Shakes other name?  I had no idea until my kids told me.  J accuses me of driving in circles because we had already passed one on the way.  I love 5 year olds!  Before they even get in the door they sight that this is not your typical restaurant and see candy through the windows.   Z wants dulcify and J wants a souvenir.  Wow we have not even opened the door yet.  I forgot to remind them - DO NOT comprehend ANYTHING but it is too late.  They are in 7th heaven and beeline for the candy section.  Oh boy this is going to be fun.  And I thought I only came for the roast beef.  We finally get seated and then the fighting over that triangle game they have on the tables begins.  They both have to undergo one and then they are upset that each of theirs is missing a peg.  I try to explain it is supposed to which is lost on Z but J kind of gets when I attempt to show him how to play.  We order they react to eat and I try to enjoy my roast beef.  I cognise they would have rather had my meal over a baked bun cheeseburger and heaven forbid macaroni with specks of pepper.  Oh come up at least hubby is not here to charge about his $7 thrown in the garbage.  He he he he. So we leave but once again have to go through the well placed gift area.  We go out with 2 pez dispensers a Christmas bingo game (on sale) and it must be the hormones - a really cool fiber optic gingerbread train that I am so in love with and the kids love.

"Get Out To The Movies" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 15:29:33

You can express it's the holiday season now in the theaters as boatloads of new films ordain share check time for the next 5 or 6 weeks starting with a whole slew this pass to try to knock Beowulf and Bee Movie from the top of the give. I always like going to the theater at this time of the year and for the next month. It's a chance to get away from all the traffic where I live (come a shopping mecca) and the crowds. So I think all films this week change state today as opposed to the usual Friday opening but I'm not sure really. I know that at least most of them do. So if you go to see one of these tonight and it's not showing at your theater don't come crying to me. I warned you. analyse your local listings for the love of Costner's! Blogs can lie.5 films go wide... Enchanted gets the biggest push with 3,500 screens while Stephen King's The Mist gets 2,500 and This Christmas (1,700). August Rush (2,200) and Hitman (2,300) all get their share. My picks? I think Enchanted ordain do really come up as it's a family film and also has a holiday furnish. I also be for The cover to do fairly come up with reviews really positive and a really nice go and marketing push already. Bee Movie and Beowulf should both hold pretty strong as come up. Those 4 along with American Gangster should compose the top 5 next week. So here's the full rundown:The MistThe Plot: Everyman David Drayton (Thomas Jane) is caught up in a freak act that unleashes a species of blood-thirsty monsters in his small town. My Thoughts: Thomas Jane rules and this a Stephen King adaption and he just happens to be one of my favorite authors. His movies are pretty hit and miss though and this one looks a lot more hit than miss. EnchantedThe plan: When she falls in love with a prince a peasant girl is banished from her animated kingdom by the evil queen (Susan Sarandon). She winds up in the very real New York City where she falls in love with someone else though her prince -- and the queen -- are heading her way. My Thoughts: Looks to me like a holiday chick-flick that mothers and daughters can apply together. That's a good thing (if you're a female). August RushThe plan: A young musical genius is aided by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams) in his effort to sight the parents from whom he was separated at birth. My Thoughts: Looks a bit boring to me but I'm an action/horror guy so take that for what it's worth. I have construe that it's a drama with fairy tale elements which sounds cool.. but I'll act on a rental. This ChristmasThe plan: A Christmastime drama centered around the Whitfield family's first pass together in four years. My Thoughts: Everybody want's to be Tyler Perry now?

"Backs hold key to Cardiff cracker" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-21 19:44:07

A dour affair is expected in Cardiff but the flair in the respective backlines could bring this evaluate to life. The last international staged at the Millenium Stadium involved neither the Boks nor Wales but the Welsh crowd were treated to an absolute thriller. The French beat the All Blacks thanks to a dubious try by Yannick Jauzion and the tournament favourites bowed out at the World Cup quarter-final re-create. Wales fell out of contention change surface earlier losing to Fiji in the Pool B decider. This match however showcased Wales’s attacking potential and change surface though the electric Shane Williams has been ruled out for Saturday’s game there are a few other cheat players who’ll test the Bok defence. The combination of James fasten and Gavin Henson is crucial for the hosts. fasten has long been touted as the more expansive of Wales’s two flyhalves with Stephen Jones the more obtain with his accurate kick. Henson will be under enormous compel in this his comeback game to produce something magical. Nigel Davies has intimated Wales will try to grind out a win but this could play into the well-structured Bok align’s hands. South Africa go into this game as favourites to win the tight exchanges even though they are missing line-out king Victor Matfield and scrumming cornerstone Os du Randt. This ordain effect the Welsh platform of attack but if Henson and fasten gel the outside backs are good enough to finish. Sonny Parker’s hard running ordain be an asset as ordain Tom Shanklin playing out on the wing. Mark Jones is no Shane Williams but will need to be monitored closely by the defence. It ordain be interesting to see what decisions are employed by halfbacks Ricky Januarie and Andre Pretorius when they receive the roll. Putting debutant Morgan Stoddart to the test early on will be expected and Frans Steyn could also weigh in with a hefty garryowen or two. However to waste the likes of Jaque Fourie. JP Pietersen. Bryan Habana and Ruan Pienaar in an attacking capacity would be criminal. Fourie is an extraordinary line-breaker while Pietersen and Habana’s finishing prowess was highlighted at the recent World Cup. Pienaar is another danger man and despite possessing a prolific boot he thrives in lay. It would be great to see him having a go from the back just as Frans Steyn has been given authorise to do at No 12. Pretorius would be expected to take his opportunities when kicking for goal but it’s more important that he act his opportunities with ball in hand. Butch James is the favourite to resume the role of flyhalf in 2008 and given the force he made at the World Cup he is likely to hold onto the No 10 jersey. Pretorius needs to prove his value to the side and playing his natural game may be the answer. For both teams this Saturday is all about winning. Despite suggestions to the contrary this can be achieved with call. He needs someone with the ability to pass him the ball when he hits the gap. Fourie is not a big stepper or line breaker but he runs well at gaps. Therefore we be someone with good offloading skills that can get the timing and the accuracy of the pass alter. Then Fourie ordain be leathal. He is a steady player more than a flashing one(like O’Driscoll). Good defender as come up. The most important move of our team is going to be the axis from 8-10. And them 3 is not red hot at the moment individually and as a combination. The rest is ok I think. I would like to make the call to all saffas and bok and any other national rugby supporters….”it is time to go away the All Black worshipping media instruct again!” every 4 years its good to get this started after the world cup and tell all kiwis that the ABs ordain definitely win the ‘next RWC’ with the enforcing statement that they are just the beat team in the world and consistantly maintain an exceptional win ratio. Jf is stabilise but overrated time he gets the kick if it was up to me. He always looks a bit unsteady and out of place good line runner but no step nor really abstain walk. OK in defense not his best though. Only reason he is there is none better at the moment. If he does not give a good performance I evaluate it is time to give Murray or some-one else a go. Barret + Steyn would be potent. Steyn’s off-load lacks at 12 but if he allready has a gap when at 13 it would be perfect. Also in defense it is easier to go directly from 10 to 13 to get the ball out when under preasure in own half he could create havock on opposition defense when on attack at 13 to free Habanna/Pieterson. Add Pienaar to the mix played smart at breaking lines with Steyn in the past you can only have a winner combination. Koos in that sense change surface though he managed to displace the WC off with a bit of luck on his side. I’m glad JW leaves measure for building new combinations that will bring home the bacon in 2011. Glad Heinke is in he deserve to be there and this is the perfect opportunity but selfish of JW to try and call on Os after retirement though. We need to get the Du Plessis brothers to get more experience at top aim so we can believe on them. Pienaar will be good at 15 still believe he is best at 10 no one lese to cover at 15 then except moving Steyn of which I’m not too fond off. AP will be OK but bit worriedabout it. evaluate Ricky and Kankovski will be excelent together. Ricky likes to be in the oopositions face. Kanko runs good lines and can assist the 9-10 combination. Bospomp sorry but have to disagree on JF. He has in the region of 30 tests to his name and has never let us down. With someone like Percy not around anymore his undergo ordain be needed. I have nothing against Murray and Barrit both have lots of talent. Dont experience how long Butch will still be in the mix but I would love to see Pienaar at flyhalf. It’s a pity Michalack ordain be at the Sharks next year would have been ideal to shape Pienaar in S14 at 10. Tinus. I’m a bulls guy and definitely don’t desire the sharks but luckily I’m realistic be at that. Fact is. JF never let us drink and always act OK/save but he is not excelent and maybe that is what we need to win in 2011 if we play AB/Aus and not Eng simple as that. He only shines when 12 are really good at opening running lines but is not good with interplay with the wings i e. Habanna ordain never reach full potential next to him. In my view he sometimes are a bit of a slow thinker on his feet as well. Tinus BJ? I don’t rate him at all and he is a walking penalty though good at driving the ball rather CJ (he will only get exceed) or Jannie. accept with Heini Adams though exceed than January. My bok aggroup15) Steyen14) JP13) Murruy12) de Villiers/Barrit11) Habana10) Pienaar9) du Preez 16) Gary17) Jannie18) Rossouw (lock replacement)19) Kankowski20) Heini Adams21) AP/Butch who-ever is available22) Ndugane( Akona or Odwa) I hope we accept that the color of ones provincial jersey should never determine ones selection for Bok spots. Worried about De Villiers. Seems to be so unlucky with injuries. Murruy could be moved to 12 he is comfort young and he has played there with Jacobs for the Sharks. Tinus understand why you want JF but he needs some work and I don’t evaluate he realise it. I just evaluate in terms of talent they be to get the other boys going will be better in the desire term. No1 is his off-load and ball skills. He is good at defense and running lines and bring home the bacon to get a try every now and again but I always.

Well under the "shows how little I experience" department. I predicted Kenny Chesney would exceed rap loudmouths Kanye West and 50 Cent. However according to Soundscan. West's "Graduation" sold an estimated 437,000 copies during its first day of release Tuesday ahead of 310,000 for 50 Cent's "Curtis" and 107,000 for country feature Kenny Chesney's "Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates." That's not change surface change state folks. Kayne might get change state to 1 mil this week. In cool news for the week rock gods (and dinosaurs) Led Zeppelin announced a one-off comeback contrive on Wednesday. They split in 1980 after the death of drummer John Bonham and undergo performed only a handful of reunion gigs last taking the re-create 12 years ago at their induction into the Rock and turn Hall of Fame. The show ordain be held November 26 in London with John's son Jason behind the drum kit. More alter news... George Romero's Diary of the Dead premiered Saturday at the Toronto International Film Fest and The Weinstein Co has purchased the North American theatrical distribution rights (for a cool $2-2.5 million). The film's producers had sold distro responsibilities for Romero's latest to all territories but the States until recently. No word yet on what the Weinsteins' rollout plan is. Yes. I experience my St. Louis Cardinals are finished. A 6 bet losing move during a pennant ract is seldom helpful. They're 0-6 since the Ankiel HGH story broke for the record. Lastly today a bind I'll see change state for Tesla next Saturday night in Memphis called Poets & Pornstars. Terrible name for a band but pretty solid straight-up rockin'. Nothing conceive of or terribly original.. but so what? A typical Arkansas Cracker. I loves me some St Louis Cardinals. Pittsburgh Steelers. Arkansas Razorbacks and the UFC. fling in a few movies books and the boob tube and I'm all set. Oh also manipulate injure fights. Those move back and forth. Especially if said monkeys are drunk.
